One effective way to lose the excess fat is the Military diet. It allows you to create the necessary calorie deficit by combining the right amount of aerobic exercise with a proper diet plan.
But, remember to stick to the guidelines if you like to get the desired results.
Before you start this diet, you should know there are some exceptions. For example, you can eat lentils instead of meat, or replace one vegetable with another.
You are free to include mustard, spices, lemon juice, water, tea, black coffee, non-stick cooking spray, and non-caloric sweeteners in this diet.
The diet may be strict, but it lasts for just 3 days. During this period, you’ll improve your metabolism, energy levels, and most importantly, you’ll lose fat. Before repeating this diet, you should make a 4-day break.
Here’s the 3-day diet plan.
Your first breakfast of the Military diet should consist of a slice of toast, ½ a grapefruit, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and a cup of black coffee or tea. For lunch, eat a slice of toast with ½ a tuna, and drink a cup of black coffee or tea.
End the 1st day with a combination of 3 oz of meat and a cup of green beans and the same amount of ice cream (preferably banana flavor), an apple, and ½ a banana (or another fruit).
For breakfast, take a slice of toast, egg, and ½ a banana (or another fruit). Your lunch should consist of 5 crackers, a cup of cottage cheese, and 1 boiled egg. End your day with ½ a cup of carrots, 2 hot dog wieners, a cup of broccoli, ½ a cup of vanilla ice cream, and ½ a banana (or another fruit).
Start your day with 5 crackers, a slice of cheddar cheese, and an apple. For lunch, eat a slice of toast and one cooked or boiled egg. End the last day of this Military diet with a cup of tuna, a cup of ice cream (preferably vanilla), and ½ a banana (or another fruit).
Know that you can’t take snacks between meals, or alcohol at any point during this period. In fact, it’s recommended to abstain from alcohol throughout the entire period when you’re trying to lose weight and get the dream body you desire.
Besides following this diet, you should also engage into regular exercise, but, adequate to your physical activity level. For instance, if you’re overweight, you should start walking every day.
But, if you’re relatively fit and active, you can choose from different physical activities. Some of the options include running, walking, working out on a treadmill, swimming, cycling, etc.
If you have some medical condition, make sure you consult your doctor before starting this diet or extending it up to two weeks.
