Stretch marks are long, narrow streaks, stripes or lines that develop on the skin. As a result of sudden stretching of the skin, the consequences are stretch marks that are most common for women. Man are less likely to get stretch marks.
They often appear on the tummy, thighs, hips, breasts, upper arms, and lower back. The connective tissue in the dermis gets stretched beyond its normal limits due to various factors such as pregnancy, drug use, rapid and excessive body mass increase, Cushing’s disease, puberty, excessively large breast implants.

Stretch marks are not medically dangerous but can be a cause of aesthetic concern and anxiety. For some people, stretch marks are such a significant cosmetic concern that they affect the quality of life.
There are numerous natural remedies, but the most effective is the lemon juice. Lemon juice is high in vitamin C, citric acid and fatty acids that help in dead skin cell’s exfoliation and help the elimination and healing of the stretch marks, scars, acne and other injuries. Even the lemon is acidic it has enough moisture to hydrate our skin. It is also great whitening agent for the skin. It contains anti-bacterial properties that relieve the eruptions related to skin.
Using lemons to eliminate stretch marks is very simple. Just cut a lemon in half and rub the affected skin with it. Squeeze the lemon slightly to release the juice onto the stretch marks, and apply it using a circular motion. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. Repeat the procedure twice a day for a month and you’ll notice the stretch marks disappearing completely.
You can also use lemon in a combination with cucumbers (equal parts lemon juice and cucumber juice), or extra virgin oil as well as mixing a few drops of lemon juice in some honey.
