Regular consumption of fruits and vegetables is crucial for the overall health and proper functioning of your bodies. However, you should not combine different fruits and vegetables together. This is not only unhealthy, but it can pose some serious risk to your health.
Down below we have a list of foods that you must never mix:
Pudding and Banana- This combination of pudding and banana, could not be easily digested and it slows down the work of your mind. Also, it promotes production of toxic substances that can cause serious consequences especially for infants.
Carrots And Oranges- Carrot and orange juice is a popular combination, however it should be noted that it can result in heartburn as well as excess bile reflux. In some cases, it has even been reported to cause kidney damage as well as other problems that might be fatal.
Milk And Pineapple- Pineapple is rich in bromelain which is why it must never be mixed with milk. If combined, the combination can cause headaches, stomach pain, nausea, infections, diarrhea and other issues which make it highly dangerous for babies.
Banana And Guava- Mixing and consuming guava and banana can cause acidosis and gasses, resulting in a feeling of nausea and headaches.
Orange and Milk- If you like combining orange with your cereals in the morning, make sure you stop doing this. This will upset your stomach and it won’t process the starch from the cereals. Also, it is hard for digestion so you will find yourself dealing with some health issues without reason.
Vegetables and Fruits- Avoid consuming both vegetables and fruits at the same time. Fruits are high in sugar, which makes them hard to digest, but they will remain in your stomach for a longer time. When fermenting, fruits release toxins and cause diarrhea, headaches, stomach aches and infections.
If you’re one of those people who add orange juice to the cereal, stop right now. It makes your stomach unable to process the starch from the cereal and once it gets mixed with milk, it is very hard to digest and will result in health issues.
However, you are allowed to mix different fruits together. Here are some recommendations for you:
Sweet– freely combine sweet fruits such as apples, bananas, cantaloupe, plums and watermelon because they do not contain acid.
Acidic – these fruits are packed with citric acid and can be safely mixed. Some examples are lemon, orange, blueberries, grapes, kiwis, and grapefruit.
Semi-Acidic – these fruits are low in acid. You can safely mix these fruits. Some examples are raspberry, mango, apples and strawberry.
Neutral – such fruits contain more oils, vitamins, proteins and salts, including almonds, avocado, walnuts, coconut and peanuts.
