Step 1: Slice the avocado in half, peel off the skin and remove the pit. Then brush the whole thing with lemon juice.
Step 2: Tightly wrap the avocado halves in plastic wrap, leaving no room for air. Place the wrapped avocado into a large freezer bag. Put it in the freezer for up to six months.
Step 3: When you’re ready to eat it, set the avocado on the counter until it thaws completely.
