This remedy is so simple – it’s a syrup made with beer and brown sugar that will soothe the irritation in your lungs and throat and help you overcome respiratory infections easier. Say what?
Here’s how to prepare it:
- 2 cups beer
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
Put the brown sugar in a pot and melt it over medium heat – once it caramelizes, remove it from the heat and pour the beer in. Now, put the pot on low heat and mix constantly while the mixture thickens. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, then store the syrup in a glass jar. Take a tablespoon of the remedy 3 times a day . If you’re suffering from dry cough, add a few mint leaves which will resolve the problems and help you breathe normally again.
